"Education is a journey that starts with curiosity and ends with windows. Embrace every step of this beautiful adventure."- St. Mother Teresa
With these words of St. Mother Teresa of Kolkata, I feel privileged and honoured to have my say for the School.
My teaching journey in school began way back in 2000. Being very passionate about learning and shaping young minds, I always found the role of an educator and leader deeply fulfilling and offering the change to inspire curiosity to build a foundation for lifelong learning. In this long journey of nurturing young minds, I have witnessed some significant changes like chalkboards and textboards to interactive whiteboards and learning app. Even a significant shift from traditional, memorization based learning to a more student centered approach. As a school leader my main focus is on the mental health and the well being of the students. So my school teachers strive to support the students emotionally, by offering counselling and mindfulness programs to foster balanced learning environment. As an educator, I would conclude with two words: Chinthana and Manthana. Chintana refers to mindfulness, thoughtfulness and contemplation. When we merge with manthana, it stands for reflection, consultation and discussion. This will finally lead us towards realizing that what we have today is a gift of the Universe and God.
I would like to conclude with this pledge which I make the school prefects take on their investiture ceremony every year - "I promise to be loyal to my school. I promise to uphold the tradition and the fair name of school to bring glory for it all times."
